Resolute Ink has been brought to the market by Permanent Graphics, LLC. The founder of Permanent Graphics, Wade Roen, was the Sr Installation Technician for U.S. Screen Print and Inkjet Technology and for over 5 years traveled all over the world installing printers, training customers and dealers and repairing machines along with working the trade show circuit. His background in the garment printing industry goes back 25 years.
Resolute Ink opened for business in the UK in February 2010 in order to continue the success of the U.S. brand. UK DTG expert and ex T-Jet Technician Colin Marsh was recruited to head up the company, Resolute DTG Ltd. Colin has over 25 years experience in the Printing Industry and a further 5 specifically in the DTG solutions field and now brings that expert knowledge and experience to the UK's growing DTG market through the Resolute brand.
Since the introduction of marketable Inkjet Garment Printers in the past 5 or 6 years, two of the major issues associated with the ink technology have always been the wash fastness of the colors and the consistency and printability of the white ink technology.
Working with chemists in the industry for the past several years and using the knowledge and experience in working with Inkjet Garment Printers with Epson based print engines to develop a new white ink, Resolute White Inkjet Garment Printer Ink is now available. Resolute Ink was in testing and was in the process of replacing the FastInk3 series of inks when U.S. Screen’s doors were closed in April 2009.

Resolute CMYK Inkjet Garment Printer Inks have been developed with FastRip color profiles in mind.
Using unique particle repulsion technology, Resolute White is much less prone to settling compared to other ink brands without compromising on other physical properties such as runnability or opacity. Resolute Ink has managed to keep a low viscosity ink system to ensure smooth flow through Epson piezo nozzles, with an ultra low settle formulation.
The result for the user is less nozzle blockage and ultimately less wastage of ink on expensive cleaning cycles. Resolute White not only runs well in the printer, it produces brilliant white prints without compromising on the flexibility of the cured image. Images are durable and stretchy, with much lower cracking under wash than other brands of ink.
Resolute Ink pre-treatment formulation (for use with white ink) has been developed to reduce shiny residues which other formulations are prone to. The nanoparticle polymers used in the pre-treatment produce a flat receptive coating ready to accept the white ink flawlessly. Once the white ink drops come into contact with the pre-treated surface, a chemical reaction occurs causing the inks to sit up on the surface of the textile rather than sink through, resulting in an opaque white print.
Resolute CMYK Inkjet Garment Printer Inks have been developed to match FastRip color profiles. The inks when cured produce an extremely durable image and are capable of producing vibrant colors on both light and dark garments. When used alongside Resolute white ink, the images produced are both vibrant and wash fast and durable. |
